Post 96 – Securing Regenschirm Laboratory

OK, so we found out that Rudus seems to be like some prison with many garbage. Time to go find Tess and meow this to him.

Tess manages to see the big picture with help from the reports of others. He says Rudus is a place to hide failed experiments. Serious, extreme experiments. Meow ask if big sis Elena will be OK there, and Tess says that she should be OK inside Rudus since it’s not too dangerous. (Me thinks that Elena will prevail because if she doesn’t, people will call her weak. x’D)

However, upon entering the secret room with Tess, the Special Force Commander Erst and this other unknown guy seems to be nyaa-ing about things already. Rebellion versus Rekenber arguments. What is going on here?

Erst not liking them corporate peoples.

Erst says it was already hard enough for the Rebellion to be helping Tess, Lazy, and the Secret Wing in general; now even the Rekenber people show up and wanna take part?? (Meow not know what happened between them, but as far as me knows, the Secret Wing’s goal was the same as the Rebellion… so this is weird).

They saying that some Rekenber facility is being attacked, so Erst has sent her team in there to help. No wonder a representative of Rekenber shows up. This be Mr VIP Vice President, Kaya Toast. Eh, meow means Kaya Toss. With him is Ms Ashley who tells us that it not only mobs in there, but even Rebels. Ex-Rebels.

Meow thinks she leads the guards of Rekenber Corp.

Ashleys says some Shuran fellow was part of her team; she is the day shift, he the night shift. But then Shuran started recruiting people to join him, to be Heart Hunters. Hearing Heart Hunters, Erst decides she will go to that Rekenber facility herself.

Meow not know if it the same or related, but this is the Regenschirm Laboratory, same name as the lab that experiments fake Ymirs on Seyren and friends. THIS IS GETTING GOOD. As Erst says, “This is troublesome yet exciting!”

After Erst left, Tess and Kaya Toss bickers. This part of what Tess says, meow likes it very much. It is very, very true:

OK, so Tess says he and Mr VIP Kaya will stay at the Cat Bullet Pub while meow go help Erst and her team to secure the Regenschirm Lab in Lighthalzen, get it back from the Heart Hunters and save the people in it.

Meow can smell gunpowder. Meow excited.

Erst will enter one door, meow and Ashley and Svenni enter through the other doors.

Heart Hunters? BOFF! Behold the power of Spirit of Savage!

This is one of the many stranded researchers, he gonna help us.

Open sesame!

While helping the many researchers trapped in rooms, Svenni and I found a document. We’ll let Ashly nyaa this thing.

Once we have cleared all the rooms and areas, we reported back to Erst. It seems that the Rebellion has won and taken control over the facility… except this central room here…

What is in there…?? /wah

Hmm? What this…? Hello–

OH MY NYAA IT TRYING TO KILL USSSS!!

OK, it become a ded, no problem here, everyone. Rebels & Cats got it under control. Alles ist gut. Nyaamow mewmew.

The soul of the creature has been Pecked into the abyss.

OK then, let’s go back to Cat on Bullet Pub and we meow at Tess. Tess says Erst and her team has gathered a lot of information from the raid just now.

So… till next post!

A very big hello and hearty meow to all. Meow knows me has been idling; we can all see the numerous non-Post posts. Whatever it is, me back now, and me will nyaa to you some stories~

RECAP TIME! Meow got it all wrong before, but me telling you the correct thing now.

At the beginning, meow was just walking about Prontera (which in this universe is a ghost town) when a Royal Messenger beckoned me. Since that day, meow got caught in many things…

Firstly was the politics among the Royal Families of Rune-Midgarts Kingdom. They were holding a Banquet for Heroes to thank adventurers who defeated Satan Morocc (not myaa, but they not listening to what I meow to them). Prince Nihil Miseria Heine became a scapegoat for unknown outsiders with hidden agendas. He was drugged and unintentionally spilled top secret info, namely where the Ritual of Blessing (the secret coronation) would be held.

Intruders came in, hurt Peter who was going to be King, and stole the crown (‘Terra Gloria’). On that crown is the Star of Blessing which would react with the Heart of Ymir in the coronation room (that is why this place is secret!), and then it will complete the coronation ceremony. The Intruder not only destroyed the fake Heart of Ymir piece, but also stole the crown.

So, comes the second chapter of getting the Terra Gloria back! What we know is that the chamberlain who drugged Nihil comes from Republic of Schwarzwald. Nihil says royal families have no authority there, so best that we adventurers go. So OK, we find the guy named Bruno and capture him. The Intruder who was a Heart Hunter was going to kill Bruno but we came in time to stop him. He killed himself and Bruno was saved — but we let the local government handle him.

That is when Skia introduced us to Philopontess (‘Tess’) who wants us to get help from the Rebellion. Tess has a friend named ‘Lazy’ and Lazy knows how to get to the Rebels. Once we arrive at Rebel secret base, Klana Nemieri, we had to convince them to help us. So talk talk talk, fight Cmdr. Elena, got the Rebellion to help, and managed to seize the Heart Hunter Warbase. Inside it was Werner’s Laboratory where we meet Werner and his trophy experiment, Seyren. After a calm disagreement between the two, Seyren handed us the Star of Blessing. So, we all headed back and gave Nihil the Star of Blessing.

OK, end of recap! So, now…

Let’s get this show on the road!

Prince Nihil tells myaa that he is next in line to be crowned King of Rune-Midgarts because Prince Peter is still not well. Hmm, if not mistaken, Nihil did want to be King. That’s why when we first met him, he was angry when he heard that Peter (his cousin?) was going to be crowned instead. Whatever it is, he gonna be crowned now, so… OK. He tells us to go meet the Rebels in Einbech. Let’s go!

This Rebel says they now have a little hovel in Einbroch, a pub. Rebels and their pubs, me likes it. OK. This is it. Cat on Bullet Pub! See, Rebels & Cats forever!

Small on the outside, bigger on the inside.
Ignore the drunken bartender, he not know what he saying.

Ah, me old acquaintance, Tess! and oh my nyaa, big sis Elena is also here!

Elena has been scouting a place that Tess wanted her to. She says her team found an abandoned waste site and refinery. Tess decided to call this place as codename ‘Rudus’. Meow not know if it is spelled Rudus or RUDUS.

According to Elena, the walls of this place was made to keep outsiders from coming in. Highly suspect! So meow go inspect walls and see what we can find out~ Hmm, this Rebel below already thinking what meow thinking… “Why would an abandoned factory need a wall? The structures look similar to a prison,” the Rebel had said.

When me tells Rookie, he also starts to highly suspect this Rudus place. He also mentions hearing a roar from inside… Hmm, meow can almost understand the roaring, like someone speaking myaa language but different dialect… Ah yes, Rookie is here too. Meow think he is glad to be outside and away from those old veterans and younger Rebels, for a change.

Oh, there was also this Norman child named Meowning Morning… he looks normal… until he tells myaa he wants to eat things Normans don’t normally eat. Meow wonders what his ‘powers’ are.

Kreepy Kringe Kid. Still, me likes to give it food and watch it eat.

Anyway, that ends meow investigation on Rudus, the strange abandoned waste site and refinery with wall so high and look is like a prison.

I will see you next post when I nyaa this to Tess.

Update on Episode 17.1 Adventures

[OOC]

Update (31 July): I’m finally done with Episode 17.1 Main Quests and Daily Quests. Of course, my post will cover only main ones. I will start writing my post soon! ^^

OK, guys. My Episode 17.1 questing has begun. Thank you so much for being patient (although I myself had to wait too, lol). Expect a post from me in a few days. Being a new content and all, I have over a hundred of screenshots to process, and I’m supposedly only halfway through the main quests.

A little recap as to why this took so damn long to the point that I hopped to iRO’s server and started a new life there:

The first/partial Episode 17.1 content was released on 23 Dec 2019. Since then, the GM team had been working on bug fixes and such. I’m fine with waiting for them to be done with those since I prefer a game that works as it should, to one that has new content but is server’s broken as heck. However, they also were busy releasing Illusion Dungeons afterwards which I honestly am not interested in, so more waiting there. After that, they did some class updates and some improvements to the game were added, plus they switched from being a mid-rate to high-rate server… We can only guess that they were even working on Episode 17.1, but hey, it was released eventually.

The ‘full’ Episode 17.1 was released to the server 22 June 2020. That’s exactly six months. I don’t know if he planned for this or what. And I say ‘full’ because we know they cut corners with official quests, being pirates.

So why didn’t I start questing then? Because these guys… knowing them, they’d release new content and then hope for players to do the testing and identify all the bugs and stuff for them — which isn’t what a dev team is supposed to be. Despite being in the world of pirate servers, professionalism is actually a contributing factor to a server’s reputaiton, being a yay or nay.

And I was right about them bugs. So many were identified, even at crucial quest points. The bugs were too many that even a good guy was tempted to abuse it and got himself banned. The irony comes in quickly when a good guy tries to break the rules. Well, rules are rules — though that saying is only applicable when the rules are being upheld justly.

That aside… Today marks the seventh month after the first/partial release of Episode 17.1. I have finally mustered some willpower and have started the quests. I can already detect some of the custom bits like the numerous auto-warps, lol. And golly, the English translation is horrible, give me quite the frowning session as I play. I can forgive one or two, but it seems to be constant. I just have to assume what the NPCs are trying to say… which kinda ruins the mood.

Still, I will be comparing and discussing these new contents with my party member, Sven for a clearer (or sensible-enough) idea of what is going on before I start posting.

I will keep my promise to all of you! So, stay tuned~ >_<

P/S: iRO already announced that they’re going to start working on Ep 17.1 soon, and that the max level cap will be raised to 185. So excited to see official 17.1. Hope it would be as fun as Ep 16.1 and 16.2.

iRO Daily Doram Blog

[OOC]

‘Ssup, guys. Just want to announce my iRO Daily Doram blog. It looks almost exactly like this one… for now.

https://thedailydoram.wordpress.com

That blog is dedicated to my gameplay in iRO. Yes, I have decided to post my iRO tales despite its mundane-ness comparing to this blog, because I am leaving the current pirate server I’m in. Once I am done with Episode 17.1 in it, I’m off. I’m very sad to leave since I have poured all my heart and soul, time and effort into it (even made a blog for it); but as the days go by, I start to see that it really is going to happen.

So for now, the iRO Daily Doram blog has only two posts. One from me, and another from ‘Un’! I hope to be posting every evening for the first few days, so I hope you will give it a peek.

Of course, I will still post here because I’m not done with my quests yet! I hope to be able to do so very soon. ^^
