Life in this particular realm meow is in has changed and meow will not be staying here any longer. After one hundred adventure posts, I pack me bags and will leave with Svenni. Train has come and we got a one-way-ticket.
Where am I going? To an official world. I doubt I will return to this deceitful paradise; but even if I do, it will not be for quests and adventures. So, goodbye to myaa readers and thanks you again! 💛

Cat talk aside, this should be the last post in this blog because I’ll be leaving LimitRO server. Why am I leaving? Because I feel cheated that they cut corners in quest contents and the server seems to be moving into a familiar direction that I dislike. Anyway, it’s been fun, really. All the adventures, in-game friends, and even being part of a known and active guild… I’ve never poured so much effort and soul into a pirate server as I did in Limit. Kinda regret it, but what can I say. Things will change and good things don’t last forever.
I will now be on iRO, an official server and will be posting my ‘adventures’ on my other Daily Doram blog [here]. I’ll be changing the background of this Daily Doram site to differentiate it from the iRO one. Yellow will be for iRO, this one I’ll change to blue.
I wish I can recreate my enthusiasm and express it for iRO this time, but for now I’m… tired. If I had known that official servers are no longer pay-to-play, I would’ve went for official way earlier; but yeah, I got lost among the pirates at sea. Anyway, I hope the flame will rekindle because iRO is fun, too. Above all, it’s LEGAL.

Hello and meow. Since we have captured Elyumina who is now behaving herself for the sake of keeping her confiscated research stuff safe, we can proceed to the final unresolved issue: where is Patrick Kaufman? Let’s try meowing at the workers here in Cor City…
They are familiar with a Patrick, but not THE Patrick. The Patrick they speak of delivers food and they know nyaathing about the Repair Department where our Patrick is assigned to. They suggest to ask the assistants of the researchers. Even though researchers have fled, their assistants should still be here.

Hmm, she is more knowledgeable about plants than people… and she feel sad that she been abandoned by her researcher, but Mr VIP’s words cheered her up and make her proud of her job. Mr VIP is becoming good leader. Anyway, she suggest me ask laundry guy who been here longer than her.
Meow? Marcus? Marcus Horseman who is boyfriend to Eva at Lighthalzen?? Yes, it is him! We have found Marcus! He said he misses Eva Mora so much, but he could not write to her because all the workers here were not allowed to contact the outside world. Strange, meow told him meow would help deliver a letter from him to his Eva, but meow not know if there was ever a letter, so… hmm. Anyway, he said me can go ask the guy at the garbage area about Patrick.
Hm, he is the second person to say Patrick is food delivery man. Can this be our Patrick? But no… Patrick is skilled repairman. Wouldn’t we need repairmen for lab and factories that is all around here? This Norman also speaks of an incinerator not far from here. Meow thinks he talking about Rudus. Maybe we can ask someone there about Patrick. Or maybe we can find Patrick there. Incinerator sound like big machine, might need some nyaa-ing and some fixing.

Suddenly, meow hears a voice. Someone muttering something about ratios. Aha, me found her! Uhh…
This person has been experimented on and discarded because she failed an experiment and is now here is this disposal site. She says many people are discarded here. They experiment on people with special body structure, but if it fails, it ends up here. No wonder this place stinks.
Let’s see if she knows Patrick. Sadly, she says she’s the last person to be thrown in here and there have been no Patricks here. However…
Well, there are various Suspicious Piles all over Rudus. So come on, Mr Tarou, we best get started on this hunt. Meow kinda nervous. Me hopes to find Patrick, really. Meow not wanna find Patrick in form of bracelet. :<

Oh no… meow reading this name many times. Cannot deny it, this bracelet is Patrick Kaufman’s. That means… the skilled repairman, the innocent bean from Lighthalzen slums might have been experimented on, or something happened to him and he was discarded here… He has become a ded and nobody in the world knows it.
Maybe it is as that Discarded Person says, better to not tell the parents yet and let them live thinking Patrick is still alive out there… Meow not know what do about this. What is the best option? What is the right option? We must report this to Mr VIP. He is a leader figure and he might know what to do.
Sigh… come on, Mr Tarou. Drive me back to Mr VIP Kaya Toss… Now meow sad.
Mr Kaya Toss is going to do something serious. Revealing these bracelets, letting the family know. Hmm… me guess it time to leave. We have done all we can and found out bad truth. Sad truth. The search for Patrick Kaufman ends here…
Let’s go, Mr Tarou– eh. What is going on? Special Force Commander Erst is here and she says she wants to tie up loose ends.

This roar, it the one Rookie and I heard! No wonder it sound familiar; it a big cat! Eh, it walking on two legs, so it’s a fellow Doram. And it can talk, too! But it coming after me now because I step in its territory. So sorry Mr Big Doram, but meow gonna have to nyaa you now.

Aha, Erst is here now. This tiger can talk! That means he not just a cat, he a big Doram! And he seems to know Erst! He was… a Rebel too? Named Miguel? Meow asked Erst what is all this, but she not wanna talk about it. So, we left the OS Borders and headed back to Cor City.
And that ends this long adventure. So many conspiracy, betrayal, and sadness… Now, me needs to rest. This has been so intense. Me needs to unwind at Cat on Bullet Pub a bit before leaving.
Ah yes… that… Big news! I have bought me a one-way train ticket out of this realm I am in. I take myaa leave and throw in the towel. Yup, meow retires! Well, not for good; me just going to another realm and continue life there. To all you true adventurers, fare thee well! If Fate has it, we will see each other again~ Bye nyaa~

After chatting with the workers, they say Elyumina‘s always been the angry crazy one. She seems to be working on robotics. Anymeow, the workers need money and they seem to know the area well, while the Rebellion “can’t even find the toilet”, so they persuaded us to let them continue work in Cor City. Mr VIP agrees to them and they are happy.
Suddenly, a Rebel says some of them were ambushed, so we head over to big sis Elena! Elena says Elyumina’s been putting her traps and robots here and there. We we will need to seize her. Time for some NYAA!
Elena says I have to go by meowself to make it easier to get info. OK. Oooooo what’s this? A box?? xD

Now that we have destroyed Elyumina’s big robot and that Eluniuminyaa is caught, we shall proceed to the next step: interrogation! We go with Elena and bring Gonie along as well.
Big sis Elena is very expressive… and look, it Gonie the tall boi.
So, Rookie interrogated Elyumina (more because Elena and Lazy made him do it). To be honest, meow did not think Rookie had it in him to interrogate people like this. Me impressed with Rookie.
Never saw the ‘W’ word in front of Elena, she sensitive to it.
What we get from Elyumina is that she is a mechanical scientist that is not formally employed by Rekenber. She doesn’t even know the names of the people around her since she just uses them when she wants to. Then, Rookie says that what Elyumina doesn’t know is that there is someone who was previously hired by Rekenber, a researcher named Illusion that Elyumina has been getting orders from, besides data and funds.
Illusion’s name is not in the name list Lazy has been holding on to. Whoever this Illusion is, we can nyaa him through some pipe entrance…
Unfortunately, no one can open the entrance, not even big Gonie. So, until then, Elena suggests we use Elyumina to upgrade armoury for the Rebellion (and us, of course!). It’s amazing how Elena’s underling manages to make Elyumina behave herself.
But this isn’t the end yet… We still don’t know where Patrick Kaufman is. Is he here in Cor City?
At the Cat on Bullet Pub, Tess has more information already. Mr VIP Kaya Toss says he will go back to his office and see what he can find out from there. Meanwhile, Tess says that to find where this lab can be, must look within Einbroch.The Rebellion will join this operation and he tells myaa to join them as well. So, OK. Not like me gots a choice… Me joke. Of course I would join them! xD

The older generation of the Rebellion (Dien, Cotnes, and Ridsh) sneaked in here, but Erst found out.
After much scratching at pipes, thick wire posts, rusty gates; and even getting ambushed, meow finally reach… Cor City! However, right before we enter, Dien said she forgot something important, so we should get it before crossing the gates. It is an envelope and inside it is a photo…
Hmm… meow not sure what to think and feel.
OK, onwards to Cor City!
So many people here, like a little village! Ah, it seems something is happening. The Rebellion has arrived, but there are some angry civillians. The Rebels don’t want to hurt the residents of Cor City, so it becomes a problem at the gates.
They think we the bad people…
These people are workers who are blocking the Rebellion’s Advance Party from going through. They must be good workers to want to protect Rekenber’s area… or maybe because it is their source of Zeny… Whatever it is, the Rebel says the researchers in this little ‘city’ have escaped with all their possessions, leaving behind these clueless Normans who have no idea of the illegal experiments being done here. So if we say we here to stop Rekenber, they call us bad guys because to them, Rekenber is good.
Now that Tess and Mr VIP Kaya Toss have arrived, they can explain to these workers the truth! They speaks of Rudus and of Rekenber’s dark experiments and all the other shady things they have discovered so far…
But meowww… they not wanna believe us… They have been fooled very well, and they are really clueless about the exact work that is being done here. And then suddenly…
Who this. “Chief Researcher”, you say? Meow! She mad! She suddenly starts shooting everyone! The clueless workers take cover behind the Rebellion, but this mad researcher named Elyumina fled when we ‘out-gun’ her…
P/S: [OOC] Thanks for bearing with the game’s bad English up till now. Usually it’s not this bad. I really don’t know who did the scripts, but damn, he has a lot of corrections to do.
Corporate conspiracy never ends! Will the VIP employee shun facts from outsider, or be just and dare to find out the truth??
Hello and meow. First, Svenni and I were investigating Rudus which turned out to be dumping site for failed experiments. Then came the task to nyaa Heart Hunters out of Regenschirm Lab. Now comes this:
Lazy and Mr VIP, Kaya Toss seem to be clawing at each other, but why? Because the report gathered from Erst’s side and the one Mr VIP has are different! In Lazy’s report (the one we helped with), it states the illegal experiments done by Rekenber, but Kaya says no such thing would have happened and his report would be true because it was done by Rekenber Investigation Team. Lazy then asks him to re-investigate. He shows a name list of Rekenber employees who have disappeared.
After some meowing, Mr VIP reconsiders.
So, Lazy decides to pick a name from the missing employee’s name list, Patrick Kaufman. The task will be to investigate what happened to Patrick, to find him. Lazy takes us to the house of Patrick where his parents are at: Lighthalzen slums.
Apparently, Lazy has been here before…
According to Patrick’s parents, they still get some money from Patrick, as usual. The mother is worried, but the father says Patrick is just working hard, so it’s OK. Patrick hasn’t contacted them for months, though… Mr VIP says maybe Patrick go holidays, but Lazy say why even on holiday, he doesn’t contact the parents? Highly suspect.
So, next stop, Rekenber Corporation Headquarters! Outside of the HQ was a lady named Eva calling out to the HQ, for Rekenber to tell the truth. Then when she saw us, she asked if we have seen her boyfriend, Marcus Horseman. Like Patrick, Marcus has been missing. She hasn’t heard from him in 2 years! He also happens to come from the slums. Mr VIP says Marcus is still receiving salary, so he’s alive, at the very least.
But Lazy says just because he get salary, why hasn’t he at least go home once in a while or make a call?
So we entered the Rekenber HQ and there was a staff there to tell us how it went with Patrick that day he first came…
Patrick is excited to get a job at a reputable company and earn more money for the family. So pure.
Mr VIP then says that new staffs should meow straight to the department they are assigned to, why need an extra briefing? Staff says many people were recruited at that time, so these special recruits require special briefing at the hall upstairs.
So, upstairs we go! There is another staff there. So we ask if he has seen Patrick Kaufman from the Repair Department. According to him, Patrick was “serious about work; good skill set; fast learner” — and found it strange that they nyaa-ed Patrick to another department even though Patrick was new. And not just any department, Patrick was sent to Regenschirm Lab… along with many others because there were always departments that closed and opened, with many vacancies to fill. Highly suspect, times two now…
So off we went to Regenschirm Laboratory, now free from Heart Hunters.. We meet with a guy named Mider who seems to know Ashley, and he tells us to ask Somir about Patrick instead because he doesn’t know who that is and Somir’s in charge of human resources anyway. (OOC: Yeah, human ‘resources’ indeed…)
Mider redirects us to Somir.
Somir says Patrick was transferred to a new lab — well, it was new at that time. Mr VIP tells him that he shouldn’t transfer new staffs even if you need more people to nyaa here. Somir is also confused because he agrees with that, but says that the HQ sometimes just send people off here and there, so he think HQ just shuffling resources.
So this ‘new lab’ is in Einbroch fields, according to Somir. Lazy says he sent his men there but they found nothing. Mr VIP Kaya Toss also says that in his report, he saw no such thing stated… so… hmmmmmm…
Mr VIP says to go to the Office, surely someone there would know of this ‘new lab’. So off we go… Me paws are getting sore, but meow wants to know the truth! We meet with Grey, secretary to Mr VIP.
Straight to the point.
So, at the store room was yet another staff. With his help, we discovered that someone named Madonno / Madonna / MadoMeowNotKnowCuzSpellingChanges has asked to transfer some people. The name on the list is very identical to the one Lazy has. According to the store room staff, workers from repair departments will go place to place, to wherever that needs repairing, so chances are, Patrick would still be at that lab. He doesn’t know why the lab would need new workers, but if lab says lab wants, lab gets.
So Lazy ask if Patrick ever took a day off or something, and the staff says he did, even last year. Mr VIP took the chance to ask about Marcus Horseman. Staff says in record it shows Marcus was transferred to another lab, one belonging to Claire. And yes, he also took holidays, even last year. Lazy asked if they still work for Rekenber, staffs says yes, they still getting paid.
Staff gives us the coordinates to the labs. Let’s get our paws moving, everyone~ We split up. Meow go with Kaya Toss, Lazy go with Ashley. And we see…
Kaya Toss realises he has been tricked and that the report given to him was a fake. He was fooled easily because he just sit in office and never went to look what is happening outside his office. He apologises to Lazy and they are on OK terms now. It reminds myaa of the time when me went to see President waaaaay back then, and the receptionist outside was shocked to hear Rekenber has conspiracy like this because to her, Rekenber was good corporation.
Well… we definitely know now that there is good Rekenber and there is bad Rekenber. Like how there is good rebels (the Rebellion) and bad rebels (Heart Hunters).
For now, we go relaxing at Cat on Bullet Pub. Me paws could use some rest. Aaah Tess will be there, so who knows what more they have discovered~ Till next post!
